For anyone looking for an inexpensive and fun night out, (tonight) is the “Battle of Pleasanton” at Amador Valley High School when the visiting Foothill Falcons travel to Amador Valley to take on the Dons in the season finale for both teams. Foothill looks assured of an NCS playoff spot regardless of the outcome based on its 7-2 record, but the Dons have everything on the line as an upset win would likely get them to the “big dance” as well. For the $5 admission, you’ll be treated to an electric environment matched by few high school venues anywhere in the state or even country. Last time these two teams met at Amador the crowd was estimated at approximately 5,000! Let’s show our typical Pleasanton support for these two great schools and celebrate senior night for the outgoing senior football players and cheerleaders for the Dons. Pre-game festivities start around 6:15 p.m., and gametime kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Be sure to arrive early as parking and seating is likely to be at a premium!
