PPD seeks public’s help in identifying bank fraud suspect

The Pleasanton Police Department is asking residents for help in identifying a woman who is accused of fraudulently withdrawing thousands of dollars from a bank account.

According to a social media post from the department Friday, an unidentified woman visited several banks on Dec. 28 and withdrew an unspecified amount of money.

PPD did not immediately answer questions regarding how many banks were targeted, which banks they were and how much money was withdrawn.

PPD stated that if anyone knows anything about the incident or can help identify the person, call the department at (925) 931-5162.
