One person was killed Thursday night in a vehicle collision near Livermore, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision between a small vehicle and a large truck on Altamont Pass Road, just east of Dyer Road, was reported just after 11 p.m.
The occupant of the small vehicle was unresponsive and declared deceased at scene, according to the CHP.
The victim’s identity has not been released and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
