A crash Thursday morning on Interstate 580 in Livermore resulted in the death of one man.
The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau identified the sole decedent as Jordan Scott Bradshaw, 67, of Danville.
California Highway Patrol Dublin Area Office is investigating the incident and requesting the public’s help in identifying a three-axle semi-truck, without a trailer and of unknown color, that allegedly did not stop at the scene of the three-vehicle collision.
“We appreciate the public’s assistance in these investigations, and often, your help can answer questions that remain unanswered,” CHP said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
The crash occurred at about 6:58 a.m. Thursday (April 30) along eastbound I-580, east of North Livermore Avenue, police said. Within about one minute, the CHP Golden Gate Communications Center began receiving reports of the three-vehicle incident.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the crash involved the semi-truck, a gray Nissan Armada and a gray Toyota Tundra. Bradshaw had been in the Toyota, according to authorities.
Emergency personnel investigated the crash and closed the right four lanes of freeway traffic for about three hours.
CHP encourages anyone with information about the crash to call the Dublin office at 925-828-0466 and speak with Officer Ryland or Officer Purl.
