Cuda Ridge Wines is under new ownership following an announcement by Lemmons Family Vineyards, which recently acquired the Livermore Valley boutique winery known for its small-lot, award-winning Bordeaux-style wines.
Led by couple Tom and Paige Lemmons, the family-owned company also owns the historic Concannon Vineyard.
“This is a natural fit for us. Bringing these two wineries together strengthens our portfolio and deepens our commitment to producing exceptional Bordeaux-style wines in Livermore Valley,” said Tom Lemmons in a statement Thursday.
The price and other details of the acquisition deal were not disclosed in the announcement.
The Lemmons family is also in the process of replanting nearly 50 acres of vineyards at the Concannon estate, focused on Livermore Valley’s signature varietals, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.
“Concannon helped pioneer Bordeaux varietals here after founder James Concannon imported vine cuttings from Bordeaux’s great estates, including Château Margaux and Château d’Yquem. Cuda Ridge shares that same dedication to quality and is especially known for its Cabernet Franc, crafting beautifully structured, Old World-inspired wines,” Lemmons said.
Cuda Ridge, located at 2400 Arroyo Road in Livermore, was founded 19 years ago by Larry and Margie Dino, who will remain actively involved in the business with Larry Dino continuing to assist with winemaking, officials said in the statement.

“We recognized a couple of years ago that we could not run Cuda Ridge indefinitely and began exploring options to continue the winery’s legacy,” said Larry Dino. “After conversations with Tom Lemmons, it became clear this combination is a win for both wineries and, most importantly, for our customers who seek an elevated experience and high-quality wines.”
Dino will join Concannon’s winemaker Brett Fikse, forming a collaborative team across both Cuda Ridge and Concannon. Together, the two bring decades of experience crafting acclaimed wines and will continue the estate’s long tradition of award-winning winemaking.
Among the changes ahead as part of the acquisition, Cuda Ridge’s tasting room will relocate on Aug. 1 to the Concannon estate at 4590 Tesla Road, where guests will be able to experience both brands. Cuda Ridge will continue to operate at its current location on Arroyo Road in the meantime, according to officials.
A temporary tasting room will open on-site while plans progress for a larger, redesigned Cuda Ridge tasting room. Cuda Ridge customers will also have opportunities to explore Concannon wines and enjoy experiences across the estate.
The acquisition news this week followed another recent announcement from the Lemmons touting their investment in significant enhancements to the Concannon property, including newly renovated event spaces such as the Vineyard Ballroom, Bubbles Lounge and Barrel Room, with a new Olive Grove gathering space currently in development.
“These additions continue to expand the Concannon estate as a destination for wine, events, and hospitality in Livermore Valley,” officials said.
