Mandarin, business classes offered

Las Positas College is offering new, non-credit community classes this fall, which includes a course in Mandarin and one titled “Get Started Making Money in Business to Business Selling.” Recognizing the growing need for Mandarin speakers, this course introduces students to the culture, history and traditions of China, and how to understand and speak basic Chinese polite speech, such as greetings. In “Get Started Making Money in Business to Business Selling,” students will learn the five key things they need before accepting a sales job and the “10 Commandments” of good business-to-business selling. Las Positas offers a wide variety of classes for the community, ranging from art to health to parenting, and more. Visit www.laspositascollege.edu/communityed for more information or to register.
