The culinary creations that define the dining scene in City Center Bishop Ranch will be on display for the annual Taste of City Center starting next week.
Designed as a 10-day restaurant week, Taste of City Center will see participating eateries offering prix fixe menus, limited-time dishes, exclusive offers and complimentary add-on starting next weekend, according to officials at the outdoor shopping center in San Ramon. The event will culminate with the September Sips wine and food pairings celebration on the afternoon of Sept. 27.
“Every year, Taste of City Center gives us a chance to put our restaurants front and center and offers guests the opportunity to discover something new, whether that’s a prix fixe menu from a longtime favorite or their first visit to one of our newer additions,” said Chuck Martinez, vice president and general manager of the venue.
“Pairing that with September Sips, right as Livermore Valley wineries hit peak harvest, lets us showcase what makes City Center the destination for great food, excellent wine and memorable community experiences,” Martinez added.
Taste of City Center launches next Friday (Sept. 18) and runs each of the next nine days from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Participating restaurants include Meyhouse, Slanted Door, Alora Social, Bamboo Sushi, Marugame Udon, Salt & Straw, ROAM Burger, Social Affair, World Wrapps and ZENTRL Kitchen + Bar. Patrons who spend $300 or more at those locations during restaurant week will receive a complimentary ticket to September Sips.
The wine showcase event, in collaboration with Livermore Valley Wine Country, is set for 2-4:30 p.m. Sept. 27 throughout City Center.
Wineries scheduled to pour that afternoon include Almost Famous Wine Company, Darcie Kent Estate Winery, Arroyo Cellars, Del Valle Winery, Garré Vineyards & Winery, JMC Cellars, McGrail Vineyards & Winery, Pruett Farms Winery, Rosa Fierro Cellars, Shanti Wines, The Steven Kent Winery and Wood Family Vineyards.
