The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department put out a house fire on Wednesday in a small neighborhood in North Pleasanton, police said.

According to a social media post on Thursday, Pleasanton PD said its dispatchers received multiple calls about a house fire on Alvord Way on Wednesday afternoon.

“Our patrol officers quickly arrived at the scene to make sure no one was inside the home and helped block off traffic so our friends at Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department and Alameda County Fire Department could extinguish the flames,” PPD stated in the social media post.

LPFD has not responded to requests for comments regarding additional details on the fire.

PPD stated that there were no reported injuries.

“We appreciate the teamwork between community members and first responders,” PPD officials said.
