RV park expands

FairPark RV, the recreational vehicle park in the middle of the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, this week announced the completion of recent renovations and expansion of its RV South sites to add 37 new “executive sites” — including two that are Americans with Disabilities Act-compliant.

Each new site, which is 50 feet long and 10 feet wider than a normal site, includes 50 amp and 30 amp electrical options, a tree to provide some shade, a dedicated picnic area and tables and a parking area for one additional vehicle, fairgrounds officials said.

“We are thrilled to expand our RV North campground sites with new features that will be sure to draw many visitors to the Fairgrounds,” Brad Miracle, RV park supervisor for the fairgrounds, said in a press release. “With year round events continuing to expand and the introduction of Golden State Racing, the competitive overnight rates offered at the campground will be hard to beat for accommodations.”

The RV park is available for overnight accommodation year-round, with onsite facilities including laundry, showers, restrooms, a general store and the Stable Café. Learn more at thefairparkrv.com.

‘Dublin Digest’

New Dublin City Manager Colleen Tribby last week introduced “Dublin Digest”, a new weekly newsletter to keep residents up to date on local projects, initiatives, special events and community tidbits, according to city officials.

The publication expands upon the “Backyard Brief” newsletter issued monthly by her predecessor.

“This week’s newsletter features information about local sports leagues, the upcoming Youth Mental Health Forum, an Eastern Dublin cell service survey, new businesses to Dublin, commission and committee recruitments, an upcoming Local Business Safety Fair, social media highlights, and more,” city officials said of the debut Digest.
