“Firefighters are being challenged by limited access and hot weather, attacking the fire from the ground with engines, crews, and bulldozers, and the air with tankers and helicopters,” Cal Fire stated in its incident updates.

No structures have been impacted as of 5:51 p.m., according to the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department. The department stated on social media that there is currently no impact to the city of Livermore.

The evacuation warnings were issued just after 4 p.m., according to Cal Fire.
Dozens of other homes in the southeast area of Pleasanton are also being asked to evacuate, as of 5:30 p.m. Those neighborhoods include portions to the southeast of Vintage Hills Elementary School and others located down Old Vineyard Avenue.
Parts of northeast Sunol are also being ordered to evacuate.
The city of Pleasanton stated on its social media pages that people can take refuge at the Pleasanton Senior Center, which is currently acting as an evacuation support center.
“City staff are available to assist those affected.
