Has anyone watched Food Inc.? Has to be taken with a grain of salt, but very disturbing nonetheless!
I watched Food Inc. I haven’t had meat since! It was very disturbing, no doubt. Luckily we have a great Farmer’s Market with fresh, locally grown, organic (if you want) foods.
I agree with Mike – eating well is something we can each contribute to our own health care plan.
It would be nice to bring Jamie in to show us how healthy we are ACTUALLY eating!
Kids eat when they are hungry. They will drink regular low fat milk if Choc. milk is not an option.
Given pizza or pudding cups or vegtables, many kids will take the pizza, but if it is not an option, and they are hungry, they will eat the good food.
Drink plain milk or soda, many will drink soda. Don’t make it an option!! It is not a choice to eat healthy. Do you want lowfat milk or water? That should be the question.
To quote my mom – eat fruit after school. If you don’t want it, then you are not very hungry.
Is that a typo on starting time for Saturday? 6:30? We thought all perofrmances started at 7:30. Also, note it is in a NEW LOCATION with very restrictive parking, so plan on parking on CASE Street by Heart Elementary and taking a free City of Pleasanton shuttle!
