Towne Center Books will host “Lunch with Thomas Steinbeck” today from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. May 13 at Towne Center Books, 555 Main St. Thomas Steinbeck is the featured guest at the Read It and Eat Luncheon and he will discuss his newest book “In the Shadow of the Cypress.” Lunch will be served at noon and reservations are required. Cost $30 for lunch and book; $15 lunch only. Call 846-8826.
