Some 1,500 people shared a meal together in the heart of downtown Pleasanton last Saturday during the first-ever Longest Table community event on Main Street – an event supported by Pleasanton Connects, the Workday Foundation and the Pleasanton Downtown Association. Pleasanton Mayor Jack Balch said the occasion felt like “a huge Pleasanton hug … one of those very special Pleasanton moments that reminds us what community is all about!”
