The North Coast Section Swimming and Diving Championships took place this past weekend at the Concord Community Pool, with the East Bay Athletic League having its usual outstanding day, qualifying multiple swimmers for the CIF State Meet.
That takes place this Thursday to Sunday at Clovis West High School.
Following is the list of EBAL swimmers that won NCS titles.

The qualifiers move on to the North Coast Section Area Meet this Saturday at Clayton Valley High. The top six finishes in turn move on to the North Coach Section Meet of Champions, scheduled for May 23-24 at Dublin.
CIF State Swimming/Diving
The first state championship of the spring season takes place this Thursday to Saturday, with the CIF Meet for swimming and diving taking place in Clovis.
The best chances for state titles fall to Luka Mijatovic, a sophomore from Foothill and the defending 500 freestyle champ. Teddy Wu, a junior from Dougherty Valley, Brooke Bennett from Granada and Rylee Hutchinson of Amador Valley also have realistic chances of winning the gold.
NCS Boys’ Volleyball
The Division I semifinals take place Tuesday with De La Salle traveling to top seeded Northgate and Amador Valley hosting Las Lomas.
The winners meet Thursday night for the title.
EBAL Baseball
It’s playoff time for baseball with Foothill going to De La Salle in one semifinal, while Granada plays host to San Ramon Valley in the other semi.
The winners meet Thursday for the EBAL title.
EBAL Softball
It’s time for the EBAL playoffs in softball as well.
The top seed in the Mountain Division Carondelet will play host to Livermore. Foothill, the top seed in the Valley, will be the home team against California.
The final is set for Thursday. All games start at 4 p.m.
