The California Highway Patrol’s Dublin Area Office is holding a traffic safety and hiring recruitment fair next weekend.

“The event will feature one of only two CHP mobile command centers, a CHP police dog, and a CHP motor unit,” officials said. “Public safety dispatchers will also be present to answer any questions and provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about CHP operations.”

Free and open to the public, the event will also offer folks a chance to ask questions about child safety seats and have CHP personnel check to make sure theirs are properly installed in their vehicle, officials said.

The fair is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. next Saturday (Sept. 20) at the CHP office at 4999 Gleason Drive in Dublin.
