Pleasanton Boy Scout Troop 941 scoutmaster James McMillan brought a crew of adult leaders to experience backpacking at Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico.
They hiked 38 miles in four days and ascended the 10,800-foot Black Mountain Peak.
