The third annual Halloween Brew Crawl, hosted by the Pleasanton Downtown Association, will be held from 5-8 p.m. tonight.

Downtown merchants and local breweries will be offering a night of trick-or-treating for adults, who can shop along Main Street while sampling a variety of beer and tasty bites at 25 locations.

To add to the festive Halloween spirit of the event, everyone is encouraged to wear costumes.

Tickets for the event cost $35, but sales will stop after 1,100 are sold. Ticket prices include beer tastings at 25 downtown locations, a commemorative beer glass and tasting map. The PDA also will be selling “designated-driver” tickets for $10 on the night of the Brew Crawl and the event programs will include taxi contact information.

Tonight’s event is sponsored by the Pleasanton Weekly, Local Gruv and Visit Tri-Valley.

  1. Sounds like fun.

I wonder how feasible it would be for the PDA to arrange low- or no-cost transportation to and from the event. Not only would this encourage greater attendance, but it would also increase safety while reducing congestion and environmental load.

  2. Just returned home from downtown and there were lots of happy people in great costumes. It was nice to see so many people out in the nice weather enjoying our downtown and all the shops that participated in this event.
