  1. Does anyone know what channel TV30 is on Directv?
This is a great way for the local teams to get exposure for their programs and get people involved in their community sports teams. Who knows it may even help kids get more looks from scotts for college football teams.

  2. Cholo,

While I respect you and value your insightful and often humorous contributions to this forum, I strongly disagree with your claim that soccer is more exciting than football. While I admire the highly skilled ball control that world-class soccer players develop, the mind-numbingly low correlation between ball control and scoring is an embarrassment to evolution. I’ll take basketball and Sumo with my beer, thanks.

  3. Can this please be the start of expanding coverage of local HS sports. I’ve never understood why PW doesn’t cover ALL sports (including JV and Frosh) rather than the sole, and occasional, focus on football. Water polo, girls volleyball, cross country, tennis are all going on now -some coverage and recognition of these athletes would be great to see…

  4. When you attend a World Cup event, youR hair almost falls out by the roots it’s so thrilling. It’s an international game, plus there are riots and people screaming beyond control!!!

Bottles fly, fights break out between players, nobody cares and then everybody goes home waaaaaaaay happy and they overeat! duh…

The only sport that has similar thrills is ice hockey!

HOORAY! VIVA SOCCER! VIVA RUGBY! VIVA ICE HOCKEY!

    NO MERCY!

  5. Dr. B and Mariano Rivera – American Sports icons – the only difference is Dr.B will never retire! Way to go Dr. B!

  6. I’m sorry, Dr. B has to be the worst tv personality ever. Is he paying TV30 to stay on the air? And really? Sbranti? Can’t TV 30 find some better personalities?
