Six vehicles were damaged Saturday in a parking lot fire at Livermore Premium Outlets in a blaze and column of smoke that could be seen for miles.
Joe Testa, battalion chief of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department which was called to extinguish the fire, said it started in a Toyota Camry. The fire quickly spread and damaged were two nearby Honda Accords, a Nissan Altima, a Toyota Prius and Volkswagen Beetle. The specific cause was not determined due to the extent of fire damage, Testa said, but the fire did not appear to be of suspicious origin.
Prior to the arrival of LPFD firefighters, a security guard at the Outlets mall attempted to put the fire out with a fire extinguisher, but couldn’t due to the size and location of the fire.
Estimated damage to all six vehicles and their contents is $34,000.

A fire that caused 6 cars to burn is suspicious to me on it’s own ~ Unless of course it “Internally Combusted.” 😉 over and over again ~
The cause of the Toyota Camry needs to be determined. The article said it spread from there.
