Doug Buenz, a broker associate at Alain Pinel Realtors in Pleasanton, and his band The Crisis will provide the music at tonight’s Concert in the Park from 7-8:30 p.m. at Lions Wayside park on First Street in downtown Pleasanton.
The band is sponsored by Y.A. Tittle & Associates Insurance Services.
The summertime music series, sponsored by Safeway and the Pleasanton Weekly, is a fun, family-friendly way to kick off what’s expected to be a weather-perfect but very hot weekend in the Tri-Valley, although temperatures by the time tonight’s concert gets under way should be in the low 80s.
The Pleasanton Downtown Association hosts the summer concerts and admission is free. Just bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show. The PDA suggests picking up something “to go” at one of Pleasanton’s downtown restaurants to enjoy a picnic supper while watching the live concert.
