The Livermore woman originally charged with 67 counts of having sex with two underage boys has reached a plea deal that dismissed all but four of the charges.
Christine Shreeve Hubbs, 42, pleaded no contest Thursday to four felony charges: unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor more than three years younger, lewd acts with a child under 14, oral copulation with a minor and oral copulation with a minor more than 10 years younger, according to Alameda County Court spokeswoman Teresa Drenick.
Hubbs will serve three years on the first count, and 8 months each on the remaining three, Drenick said in an email. In addition, Hubbs will have to register as a sex offender — a lifetime requirement, according to Drenick — and will have to pay restitution, fines and court costs.
In addition to dropping the felony charges, all misdemeanor counts against Hubbs were dismissed, Drenick said.
Hubbs, who has a husband and three children, was arrested on Aug. 5, a little more than a week after the mother of one of the victims reported possible illicit activity between her son and Hubbs.
Hubbs allegedly sent messages and nude pictures of herself to the boys from her cell phone. After contacting the victims, she would then allegedly drive them in her black 2006 Hummer H2 to different locations in Livermore and have sex with them, police said after she was arrested.
According to Livermore police, both boys were 14 years old when Hubbs began having sexual relationships with them.
Her official sentencing is set for March 25.

“Dismissed all but four of the charges…” THAT IS RIDICULOUS! Who was in charge of making a plea deal like that? Somebody should give them a random drug test, they must be high! BIG DEAL! A little SLAP ON THE HAND is all she got! I am discusted! Let me tell you that the families of the victims will face the reprecussions of this woman for alot longer than 5 YEARS! I hope she does REAL HARD TIME!
I’m not a lawyer, BUT I doubt that Mrs. Hubbs will serve all of her “five year sentence”. A more likely scenario is parole in 2 or 2.5 years.
And yes, if it had been Mr. Hubbs committing these sex crimes against 14 year old girls, his sentence would have been doubled or even tripled. There is a proven disparity in the sentences given to female and male sex offenders, as this case illustrates.
Here’s the case of a 31-year-old man who got 153 years in prison for the same sort of crime:

And the case of a 41-year-old man who got 12 years in prison for sex with a 15-year-old girl:

And a 32-year-old woman who was sentenced to seven months for sex with a 14-year-old friend of her son:

Guess the woman in Maine had a better lawyer than Mrs. Hubbs, or an even worse judge.
Has someone taken away your custard or something? How does one become “discusted?”
“Hummer Mom” Come on you guy’s, this story is no joke. Due to the nature of men, women and crime, A man will always serve more time for this type of crime and that’s the way it should be.
Wish y’all’d quit sayin’ Hummerr…
unclehomerr..
“Due to the nature of men, women and crime, A man will always serve more time for this type of crime and that’s the way it should be.”
I agree. The two cases are just different. And that’s the way it should be.
“I agree. The two cases are just different. And that’s the way it should be. ”
Can you please explain the reasoning? Why are they different?
I believe they are different in the fact that men are generally more violent than women and commit more sex crimes than women. It’ the way we’re wired I guess.
