A variety of antique goods will fill Main Street on Sunday, Oct. 8 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. About 15,000 to 25,000 people are expected to attend the annual Antique Faire, which has been called “the biggest in the West.” The masses will be hunting for unique antique goods from more than 250 vendors.

“From jewelry to trinkets, ceramics to furniture, small to large, the wide variety runs the gamut,” said Nicki Hoppe, Pleasanton Downtown Association events coordinator.

The event has been running for about 15 years and always promises fun, she said.

“Attending the Antique Faire provides a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to spend time together, strolling through our charming and historic downtown, while seeking out the special treasure, whether it be an item from the past found in one of the booths along the street or something newly discovered in on of our distinctive shops,” Hoppe said.

Admission is free. For more information, visit the PDA Web site at www.pleasantondowntown.net.
