Longtime Pleasanton residents Susan and Ron Wacek visited Australia last year. “This is Lucky Bay Beach on the Southern Ocean where the white sand actually squeaks when you walk on it. Kangaroos like to hang around on the beach too. The waters are brilliant shades of turquoise,” they told the Weekly.
