Marty Daniels takes a break at the Ice Domes in Overbygd, Norway to read the Pleasanton Weekly. The Ice Domes features an eight-room hotel made entirely of ice — including the furniture — and a campground.
She also visited Holmenkollbakken where her maternal grandmother was a ski jumper in the 1890s. She traveled through the country, visiting several cities from Oslo to Tromso where she saw the Northern lights.
