Investigators with Dublin Police Services are currently working alongside the U.S. Postal Inspectors Office and pursuing leads as they seek the suspects in a reported robbery targeting a mail carrier this week.

DPS officers responded to the scene at approximately 4:30 p.m. Monday (May 6) following the incident at Obispo Court in southwest Dublin in which a U.S. Postal Service carrier said she had been approached from behind by two masked men who took her mailbox key and cellphone, with one allegedly pointing a gun at her. 

No injuries were reported in the altercation.

The culprits fled on foot and have not been located by police since, despite a subsequent DPS search of the area. Police are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call DPS Sgt. Chris Haendel at 925-833-6670.
