Pleasanton is hosting an interactive art exhibit by internationally known sculptor J. Seward Johnson to sidewalk locations in downtown Pleasanton until June 30. Eleven life-size, three-dimensional bronze sculptures depict the everyday activities of people who may be found anywhere. Call 931-5355 or e-mail finegan@ci.pleasanton.ca.us.

I love the sculptures and look forward to seeing them on my daily trips downtown. So I was disapointed today to see the fishing pole missing from the “man” next to the bridge 🙁
Yeah, I’ve seen them. Driving through downtown, late at night, it’s pretty much the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen.
Even during the day it’s more than a bit weird.
Yes, I have seen them and LOVE them.
Never been a big ‘art’ lover, but these sculptures are remarkable. Truly glad we have them here in Pleasanton.

The sculptures are great! I loved the one that is a guy cleaning a window, it looks so real!
I think the sculptures are cool. I like how you wander downtown and run across one of them – thinking at first its real than you realize it’s not!
