This frame-by-frame animation follows Whisker’s struggle with opioid addiction and path to recovery, guided by Dr. Paws. It also explores the science of dopamine and addiction, showing how the brain and behavior are affected.
This animation was produced as part of a program to educate youth and others about Alameda County’s opioid crisis, prevention and treatment options. The program is funded by the Alameda County Behavioral Health Department and the grant is administered by Three Valleys Community Foundation.
