The Markel family spent spring break in Iceland chasing the Northern Lights (who knew they would turn up in Pleasanton just over a month later?). The weeklong trip included lots of driving through some pretty gnarly blizzard weather with lots of stunning vistas, waterfalls, geothermal pools and a stop at the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon to take a picture with their Pleasanton Weekly.
