Tri-Valley housing support nonprofit Goodness Village is gearing up for its third anniversary fundraising gala next Saturday evening at the Pleasanton Senior Center.

The organization, which operates a 28-unit tiny home community for formerly unhoused people on parts of the old Freisman Dairy property in Livermore, sees their “Celebrating Goodness” gala as “an evening of celebration, community and philanthropy, all in support of ending homelessness in the Tri-Valley.”
“As we mark our third anniversary, we invite you to celebrate with us and be a part of our ongoing journey towards creating a brighter future for our neighbors in need,” Goodness Village Executive Director Kim Curtis said in a press release. “Your generous support will enable us to continue providing vital resources and support to those striving to rebuild their lives.”
The gala fundraiser on Saturday (June 15) is set to feature dinner, entertainment and auctions, with all proceeds going directly toward “sustaining and expanding the impactful initiatives of Goodness Village,” according to the press release. The nonprofit’s mission aims to uplift formerly homeless people by focusing on independent living, healing and thriving.
Tickets at $125 per person remain available at gvlivermore.org. The gala starts at 5 p.m. at the Senior Center at 5353 Sunol Blvd. in Pleasanton.
