Pleasanton native Nick Goldstein earned California Pacific Conference Freshman of the Year honors after his first season of college soccer this semester at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University based in Prescott, Ariz.
The freshman forward, who scored five goals and notched seven assists, was also named Second Team All-Conference. Goldstein graduated from Foothill High this past June.
