A cast of 18 adults and youth come together to present the story of Henry (Auburn Wilson, right), Jessie (Juliana Ohlmeyer, second from left), Violet (Lexi Pudvan, second from right) and Benny Alden (Hunter Milano, left), orphans who run away to live in an abandoned railroad boxcar. The depression-era tale is from Gertrude Chandler Warner’s classic children’s series and will be played out on the Amador Theater stage, 1155 Santa Rita Road, in April. Performances are at 8 p.m. April 18, 19, 25 and 26, and at 2 p.m. April 20, 26 and 27.

Tickets are $14, $18 and $20 for adults and $8, $12 and $16 for children. Purchase them at www.civicartstickets.org up to three hours prior to the performance, by calling 931-3444 or at the box office two hours prior to the performance.
