Jack Boyd Millard
A 40-year resident of Pleasanton, Jack Boyd Millard passed away on Feb. 10.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Pat, and their loving children, Lynn Bowe of Tiburon, Laurie Ames and son-in-law, Ed Ames of Escondido. Jack was preceded in death by his son, Tobey.
He and Pat met in elementary school in Southern California and many years later, after serving as a Flight Engineer in the Air force, they married and were blessed with their three wonderful, loving children.
He enjoyed fishing, flying, crafts (birdhouses, etc.), gardening and golfing with Pat and his SIR buddies. His biggest joy, however, was being with his family.
He had a 35-year career with Chevron and retired as a Branch Sales manager for the asphalt division in Oakland.
A memorial service was held at Graham-Hitch Mortuary in Pleasanton. Contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society Research or The American Lung Association.
