The Amador Valley JV girls team traveled to Liberty High School Tuesday and came home with a big win, beating the Lions by a score of 45-27.

The Lady Dons were a bit sluggish in the first half but held a small lead of 17-12 at the end of the half. Coach Namoca had the Dons apply some full court pressure in the second half and the Dons were able to capitalize, extending their lead to 34-22 by the end of the third quarter and finally winning the game 45-27.

Every Lady Don played for Amador and contributed to the win. Britannia Bloom was high scorer for Amador with 10 points and Christine Homan and Courtney Wagner each added 7 a piece. Scarlett Dante and Ariana Flynn each had 6 points and Chelsea Luther had 4 points for the Lady Dons. Haley Douglas added 3 and Mikayla Swinkles added a bucket to round out the Dons scoring.

Amador faces Pittsburg tonight on their home court.
