Pleasanton Seahawks set new records
The Pleasanton Seahawks spent the Feb. 4 weekend hosting a Junior+ meet at their home pool at the Dolores Bengsten Aquatic Center. They used the home pool advantage to post some best times and swim to new team records.
Brandon Fischer, age 17, took first place in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:06.56.Ý He also swam a new best time of 4:53.79 (Sectional time) to take third place in the 500 Free.
Josh Meints, age 14, placed third with a new best time of 4:27.19 in the 400 IM. Jen Narum, age 17, swam to first place with a time of 17:13.82 in the 1650 Free. Andrew Seitz, age 12, set new team records in three events: 500 Free (5:05.39), 1000 Free (10:34.10), and 200 Free (1:56.67).
Galen Sollom-Brotherton, age 14, continues to set team records and improve his times with first place in the 500 Free (4:45.18) and 1650 Free (16:11.20). Jeffry Yen, age 16, placed third with a new best time in the 200 IM (2:04.60).
