A man accused of shooting someone in a vehicle earlier this month has been arrested by Alameda County Sheriff’s deputies, the office said Wednesday.
On May 15 just after 7 a.m., a man in his 30s was found jumping out of a vehicle and flagging down another motorist for help in the 5500 block of Niles Canyon Road.

Deputies responded and discovered that the man had injuries to his upper extremities. He was taken to the hospital and survived; currently he is in stable condition.
A suspect in the case was soon identified as Jesus “Morro” Gonzalez-Solis, who was known to the victim, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
On Tuesday, Gonzalez-Solis was located at an unhoused encampment in Hayward and arrested. Deputies allege they found a loaded 9mm AR-15-style pistol on his person.
Gonzalez-Solis was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and multiple weapons offenses. The motive for the alleged shooting is still under investigation.
