Welcome to the Playbook!
It is time for another week of the 2025-26 prep sports year! The Playbook takes you inside the East Bay Athletic League, writing about outlooks, updates and insights into all the sports, along with profiles of athletes, and opinions regarding controversial issues in high school sport.
The Big Picture is all about the Livermore High boys’ volleyball team as the Cowboys are putting together one of the best seasons for any EBAL team in years.
EBAL Power Rankings has some movement in baseball, but volleyball and softball stay the same.
What to Watch has the schedule of some key games as the seasons get close to the end of the regular season. (The Fast Five has a week off for spring break and will be back next week.)
