Swalwell to host town hall in Pleasanton on Wednesday

Will run from 7-8 p.m. at Foothill High School

U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Livermore) will be holding a town hall meeting on Wednesday (March 1) at Foothill High School so that he can listen to any issues and concerns his constituents might have.

"I want to hear directly from the community about how they are doing and what is on their mind," Swalwell said in a press release on Tuesday announcing the event.

"At the end of the day, we need to make sure the federal government is working for our people and our communities. The East Bay is paying attention, and I know that many people have ideas about how we can make their lives better. I am looking forward to the discussion," he added.

Swalwell's town hall will serve as a forum for anyone within District 14 -- the area he represents -- which includes Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Sunol, Hayward, Union City, Castro Valley, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Cherryland, Ashland, Fairview and Fremont.

The event will take place in Building G at Foothill from 7-8 p.m.

I won’t be there, but perhaps someone should ask him the following questions:

- when will he and his Democrat Congress address the the southern wall. Why have they delayed doing so after two years and 5 million illegal entries later?
- can he explain why we are providing a corrupt thug in Ukraine with over 100 billion taxpayer dollars in the form of cash and equipment? Why is this government not auditing or tracking where the money and cash are going? Lastly, why are we involved?
- can he explain his campaign spending activity and justify it to the tax payers? He sure party’s a lot.
- How’s is his communist connection (Fang Fang) getting along?
