The exit that is currently closed from the Dublin-Pleasanton BART Station garage to Iron Horse Parkway should be reopened in approximately one week, according to representatives for the public transit agency.

Crews are currently working on the nearby tower to upgrade the radio system used by BART personnel including the Operations Control Center, BART police and dispatch, train operators, and maintenance crews, among others.

Customers using the garage can exit through the two exits on its south side, and the garage entrance on Iron Horse Parkway will also remain open. Temporary signage has also been posted to direct drivers in the right direction.

Drivers around the station are also advised about a road closure on a segment of northbound Arnold Road, between Altamirano Avenue and Martinelli Way, through Friday (Dec. 3) while PG&E performs an emergency repair on a gas valve.

Southbound lanes on Arnold will remain open, and vehicles will be able to access the BART station. However, vehicles leaving BART (or Campus Drive) will be directed to drive through the garage to Iron Horse Parkway.

Public works inspectors will be checking traffic control throughout the duration of the project, according to Dublin city officials. Work on the repair started before Thanksgiving, and is expected to be completed by Friday.
