The Pleasanton Police Department has two new staff members among its ranks: Officer Eric Mossi and support services manager Megan Wilske.

Police Chief David Swing welcomed the new employees and delivered the oath of office during a ceremony at police headquarters last week.

Wilske, a longtime non-sworn police staffer, joins Pleasanton PD after 22 years with the San Leandro Police Department. She began there as a police dispatcher and was promoted through the ranks to acting police business manager.

A Bay Area native who graduated from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, Wilske holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from California State University, East Bay.

Mossi, a military veteran, is beginning his career in law enforcement as a new police officer who recently graduated as part of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office 170th academy class, where he earned the Top Performance Award and Outstanding Overall Achievement Award.

A graduate of Rancho Cotate High School in Rohnert Park, Mossi served five years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantryman before being honorably discharged.
