The Bankhead Theater is hosting its second live Courtyard Concert at 5:30 p.m. May 14, opened by Bay Area comedian John Lehre and featuring singer/songwriter Lauryn Marie.
A native of Pleasanton, Lauryn Marie took the top award at last summer’s virtual StarsDay Open Mic Competition before heading to Nashville to study songwriting. She combines folk, indie-rock and bedroom pop to create sincere, relatable songs with thoughtful lyrics and evocative melodies.
Tickets are $20. Visit www.LivermoreArts.org, call 373-6800, or email boxoffice@lvpac.org. Attendance at Courtyard Concerts is capped at 44, seated at distanced tables; concessions will be individually served.
