Pianist and composer Ira Stein is bringing his trio back for a concert on April 28 at 8 p.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Pleasanton.
The trio is made up of piano, cello and soprano saxophone, an unusual combination of instruments, that play a unique style of music, blending Bach improvisations with original compositions.
