The Chalak Mitra Group that took over the financially-ailing Elephant Bar casual-dining chain two years ago has closed the Dublin restaurant as part of a realignment of its restaurant businesses.
CM Ebar LLC, parent to the Elephant Bar restaurants and the Genghis Grill chain, identified the Dublin restaurant as one of four it closed over the weekend.
The three others are in Concord, Campbell and Cupertino. Elephant Bar restaurants in Hayward and Fremont remain open.
CM Ebar acquired the 34-year-old Elephant Bar chain in August, 2014 from Costa Mesa-based S.B. Restaurant Co., which had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization.
Just as well-overprice food and drinks. Much better restaurants in the area.
Just wait. Ir will be replaced by another chain!
The restaurant is fine with good food.
