McDonald’s restaurant on Pimlico Drive in Pleasanton was robbed of an undetermined amount of money at 3 a.m. yesterday.
Lt. Scott Rohovit of the Pleasanton Police Department said the suspect, armed with what appeared to be a small caliber revolver, ordered the three employees on duty into an office and demanded money from the safe. Once the safe was opened, he then herded them into the store’s freezer and told them not to come out for 30 minutes.
According to the employees, the suspect was wearing white cloth gloves and a full face white mask. He was described as a possible Hispanic male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a medium build.
No one was hurt during the robbery. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Pleasanton Police Department at (925) 931-5100.

It was probably a BART union thug looking to shore up his lavish savings in the likelihood of an impending strike. BART workers are way over compensated. They are tyrants who are holding us all hostage. They don’t value freedom the way George Washington did when he withdrew his troops from New York in the hopes that the anarchist socialist elitists would turn on themselves.

I’m not saying ALL Bart workers are bad, Stacee. Because most of them don’t want to be unionized but have their arms twisted by the thugs. They know they’d be making way more than 66K a year if they weren’t unionized. Instead of ranking 3rd in the country for public transportation worker wages, they’d be first because, face it, BART management would be far more generous when facing unorganized, powerless workers. So, really, its the avid union members who are likely behind these strong-armed hoists. There’s no end to their greed, as the stick-up of MacDonalds indicates.
Why should we taxpayers pay for wage increases when so many of them supplement their wages with MacDonalds stick-ups? It’s all very logical.

Also- Typical FF (Fast food) establishments with drive thru, usually only have drive thru open. Did the suspect present the weapon @ drive thru?
Pleasanton used to be a safe place to live, but with the on-going armed robberies, I think everyone needs to be more vigilant and report suspicious activities (even if the activities do not effect you)
This location makes it easy off/on freeway access. Perps could be from anywhere…
I heard from a very reputable source that BART workers are desperately looking for cash to tide them over for the impending strike. In my humble opinion, the primary suspects should be BART workers and their offspring. Once one makes the choice to join a union, then just like the Mafia you’re expected to engage in all kinds of inchohate behaviors, like pay union dues and contribute to the strike kitty. This is only my opinion. I’m not mentioning any names.
I’m not sure how this McDonald’s was robbed at 3am, since at that time they are drive-thru only. Did they leave a door open? Did the perp break out a window? Sounds to me like they need to improve their security procedures given the spate of robberies Pleasanton is experiencing (mostly from the Other Side of the Hills folks).
I also find it interesting that at the same time we are experiencing this large increase in robberies and burglaries, Gov. Moonbeam Brown and his gaggle of left wing nut-job Legislators are doing everything they can to take away guns, so only the crooks will have guns.
