Mules led by John Sears walked through Pleasanton last week on their way to Sacramento where the man who calls himself “Mule” will continue to show there are ways other than “by wheels” to travel in the U.S. This photo by Pleasanton Weekly’s Katrina Cannon, the newspaper’s lead designer, was taken as Sears passed by McDonald’s restaurant on Sunol Boulevard at Bernal Avenue.
