Parents of students at Amador Valley High School will hold a “farewell” reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight to say goodbye to Principal Jim Hansen, who is retiring at the end of the school year.
The event, open only to adults 21 years old and older, is being held at the Wine Steward, 641 Main St., in downtown Pleasanton.
The cost to attend is $25 and includes a glass of wine and light hors d’oeuvres.
