A San Francisco woman was arrested for four felonies and one misdemeanor after a Dec. 19 shoplifting incident at Nordstrom, according to police reports.
Laura Ann Nickel, 32, was pegged by store security as a suspicious woman who was seen carrying a number of items along with a large black bag, reports said. She took several jackets into the fitting room, where a store security guard heard what sounded like clipping sounds. After she left the fitting room, the guard found a security tag stashed in another jacket.
Nickel was arrested for shoplifting a jacket valued at $190. During a search, police turned up nine counterfeit bills — two $20s, four $10s and three $5s — along with methamphetamine and a pipe.
That led to felony arrests to burglary, possession of burglary tools, forgery and methamphetamine possession, all felonies, and a misdemeanor count of paraphernalia possession. Nickel was arrested at 7:39 p.m. in the 1600 block of Stoneridge Mall Road.
In other police reports:
* Counterfeit $50 and $10 bills were discovered at the Childrens Place at Stoneridge Shopping Center. Two $50 bills and one $10 bill were found in the incident, reported at about 4:09 p.m. in the 1200 block of Stoneridge Mall Road; there are no suspects.
* Tools worth more than $4,800 were reported stolen Dec. 18 in a burglary at 829 Clara Lane. Among the items taken were an industrial hammer valued at nearly $1,500 and a laser level worth nearly $1,200. A window was broken in that burglary, which occurred between 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14 and 8 a.m. Dec. 17.
* Four rims worth $1,000 and four tires valued at $600 were reported stolen overnight Dec. 18 from Specialty Service in the 3500 block of Nevada Street.
* A 42-inch flatscreen TV valued at $511 was reported stolen at 9:03 a.m. Dec. 21 from the fitness center at Pleasanton Glen apartments in the 3900 block of Vineyard Avenue.

This woman needs to be in a drug program.
Solve her drug problem, and her need to steal goes away.
Mike
she may or she may not be a drug addict…she may have been carrying the meth and a pipe to avoid doing jail time and is referred to a drug treatment program…only the proper tests can determine if she is an addict…if she needs to smoke…she will most likely need to smoke soon…my suggestion is to put her in jail and order her to be medically monitored if she in an addict…then put her in a more long term facility after a proper medical withdrawal so that she serves the time she has earned…when she is released, she might be released to a monitored facility to help her transition with some support…if she doesn’t cooperate, throw her ass back in jail…
Forced drug programs don’t help people because they always go back. It’s only when the person doing drugs figures it out by himself is when a drug program works.
I’m surprised Mr. Cholo wants her to be institutionalized – doesn’t that take away from the pool of his potential female companions (assuming he’s heterosexual).
my my my…look who curious! tee hee hee…
does anybody else suspect that William Tell is trying to feel out if we’re a match? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…BUSTED!
tee hee hee…
cholo, looks like those remedial English classes have done wonders to improve your writing style. It’s hard to determine whether your post above refutes or approves of William Tell’s assertion and assumption.
No matter, your ‘throw her ass back in jail’ comment means you’ll most likely be seeing her again.
just because William Tell is sniffing out a guy to play with doesn’t mean he’s a bad person…
very sneaky post…using code to say William’s Tail is available!
NOT INTERESTED…tee hee hee…
do tell = William Tell…BUSTED!
tee hee hee
The charges against the woman are frivolous. If she had been carrying an ak-47 as guaranted by the 2nd amendment written by our founding fathers, there would have been a far different outcome.
I agree william tell has conspicuous fascination with maletail.
