Known as one of the most polished, professional acts in stand-up comedy, Brad Upton will close out the popular Comedy at the Firehouse Arts series for the 2011-2012 season on June 14.
His opening act for the evening will be Comedian Myles Weber, known as one of the most engaging working comics in the San Francisco Bay Area.
A veteran of 5200 shows, Upton is known as one of the most polished, professional acts in stand-up comedy. The past winner of the Las Vegas Comedy Festival and participant in the Caesar’s Palace HBO Comedy Festival, he has performed with scores of star performers such as Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Smokey Robinson and appeared in concert with Johnny Mathis for four years. He is currently appearing in multiple engagements with Joan Rivers.
Upton’s ease and likeability onstage have made him popular with cruise lines and corporate events in addition to the Las Vegas circuit. He adds his comic touch to a variety of subjects including twenty-somethings, a long-term marriage, and current events. The Seattle Times said, “Brad Upton has mastered the nearly impossible task of appealing to people from the ages of 18 to 80.”
