BART trains will have additional cars this afternoon from Pleasanton to take on an influx of college football fans going to the University of California at Berkeley game against top-ranked University of Oregon.
Longer trains will run prior to the game, which is scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m., and afterward until about 8:30 p.m. Extra BART personnel will also be provided at the Downtown Berkeley station around those times, as will special event trains.
The Downtown Berkeley station is a short walk away from Memorial Stadium, where the game will be held.
