These photos, all taken by Pleasanton Weekly photographer Jay Flachsbarth, catch the spirit of last Friday’s graduation exercises at Foothill and Amador Valley high schools.
With the commencement program at each school’s football stadium instead of at the Fairgrounds ampitheater, where they’ve been held for years, parents, students and faculty told us they felt graduation this year was more personal, meaningful and festive, with thousands of family digital photos taken that will now fill computer storage memory albums for years to come.
