Hotel employees, executives and ambassadors from the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce celebrated this morning the renovations and name change of the Marriott Hotel on Dublin Canyon Road.

Formerly known as the Crowne Plaza Pleasanton hotel, the hotel underwent an extensive renovation and was renamed the Pleasanton Plaza hotel a few months ago. After a sale was finalized, the hotel was renamed the Marriott Hotel.

It is now the second Marriot hotel in Pleasanton. The Courtyard at Marriott is located on Hopyard Road, south of Owens Drive.

  1. Where is the new Marriott? Guess I didn’t where the Crowne Plaza was either. It would be nice to have the address in the story somewhere.

  3. I was there last night, it’s very nice now, a very welcome update. Of courses the prices have gone up (almost doubled), we have friends that used to stay there when visiting out of town, Seems they will look elsewhere now.
